“I tip my hat to Shen Yun Performing Arts! I have led many art troupes abroad and seen many performances overseas, but I have never seen anything of this level!” – These were the words of Meritorious Artist Le Chuc, former Vice President of the Vietnam Stage Artists' Association, after learning about Shen Yun Performing Arts.

The name “Shen Yun” has a very special meaning. In Chinese, “Shen” means divine being, and “Yun” means the bearing or inner meaning of a divine being. Together, Shen Yun means the beauty of divine beings dancing! Shen Yun's performances embody the essence of traditional culture, revealing ancient wisdom of extraordinary depth and breadth and bringing back the splendor of 5,000 years of civilization.
Through spectacular dance and music, Shen Yun's artists take audiences back to ancient times, when gods and humans coexisted in the “Divine Land” and the civilization left by the divine was passed down from generation to generation. The wisdom of the ancients, rooted in Buddhist and Taoist spirit and thought, permeated every field of culture, from traditional medicine to theater, dance, architecture and martial arts.
