Shen Yun Preserves 5,000 Years of Traditional Culture

Traditional culture includes the values, customs, practices, arts, languages… that form the identity and character of each nation. Traditional culture not only reflects history but also connects the past and the present, laying the foundation for the future.

Through traditional dance and music, Shen Yun takes audiences back to ancient China and the civilization left by the divine and passed down from generation to generation. The wisdom of the ancients, rooted in Buddhist and Taoist spirit and thought, permeated every field of culture, from traditional medicine to theater, dance, architecture and martial arts.
